After Covid and the associated lockdown and change to our economic environment, we are broadening the help we're trying to provide to our families. At the same time, we recognise that there are particular groups within the community who are even more vulnerable than most, and they will be our priority.

We will therefore concentrate on:

​

• Support for people returning to work - posting available jobs on our Facebook page, encouraging local employers to offer interviews to our families and when necessary, providing practical and emotional support.

• Victims of Domestic Violence - for those who are forced to leave the family unit and set up anew, we'd like to help with equipment for their new homes.

• Famiies at risk of children being taken into care owing to lack of resources - we can reach out to the community for help in aquiring the needed items.

• Networking and Partnerships - we are commited to work in partnership with a number of charities/groups across the Algarve, for example, Arm in Arm, a Messines based charity which raises money through their charity shop and warehouse. All funds raised are then passed on to charities across the Algarve including ourselves.
